Pokemon GO is one of the most popular games that has captured the hearts of millions of players worldwide because of its augmented reality gameplay.
Niantic, which is known for having one of the strictest policies against spoofing location and using modded versions of the app, seems to be banning users based on their choice of phone following their recent 10.3.2 update.
Niantic Support has officially addressed the issue tied with the Xiaomi 5 and "Game Turbo", stating that they will supply an update to the situation at a later date.
One Twitter user @AnetUA2 has created a Google Sheet to help track the issue, and the number has already crawled to almost 500 entries whose Pokemon GO accounts have been suspended without a clear reason.
Majority of users have Redmi 5 and Note 5 Pro while some also owns Mi 8, Redmi Note 4/7 Pro, Mi 9 and others.
@AnetUA2 has also launched a campaign on change.org that applies to titles such as Harry Potter: Wizards Unite and Ingress Prime on top of Pokemon Go.
