Regardless of the game you are playing, the gaming industry has seen tremendous growth in the past month. It’s rise in popularity has been a long time coming and it has been showing a steady growth before the covid pandemic came about. Based on an article by Newzoo in 2018, the gaming industry had already generated over 138 billion US dollars in sales worldwide and was on the rise.
It is interesting to note that gaming is not a male dominated industry as a distinct statistic of the gaming industry in 2019 is that 63% of mobile e-gamers are female. It is also found that female users are more willing than male gamers to make in-app purchases. This statistic alone presents a major opportunity that may not be clearly apparent as new markets are actually present to gaming influencers which many do not know about.
A clear strength of gaming influencers is that content which they produce are very relatable and genuine. Viewers are able to relate to their content as they are able to experience their content first hand themselves. This creates a strong connection between influencer and viewer....
