Tencent-backed Glu Mobile is based in San Francisco, and produces mobile games such as Disney Sorcerer’s Arena, WWE Universe, Diner Dash, and Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.
The Glu Mobile acquisition marks a significant push by EA to dominate the mobile gaming space, a space it believes to be the “Fastest-growing platform on the planet”.
EA expects the acquisition deal to close by June.
