FPX, which was founded in 2017, is one of the youngest Chinese esports organizations around — gaining worldwide recognition after the team won the 2019 League of Legends World Championship finals.
In just a short span of 3 years, FPX has formed partnerships with major brands ranging from BMW, OPPO, PUMA, Oish, Cool Fish, Huya, Bixin, and many more.
While terms of the new deal were not publicly disclosed, it appears that Herman Miller will act as FPX’s exclusive “facility partner” — by providing a range of furniture/equipment for gaming.
This is not the first time Herman Miller has partnered with an esports team as a furniture provider — Last year, the firm partnered with Philadelphia Fusion’s Overwatch League team as their gaming chair partner.
Last year, Herman Miller also partnered with Logitech G to produce an esports gaming chair aimed at addressing ergonomic issues and discomfort gamers face while sitting in front of their computers for long hours.
