Volition's reboot will be expanding with three major releases for Expansion Pass holders throughout the year, which will include two free new districts to explore, three more quality-of-life updates, and a Dead Island 2-inspired cosmetic pack for all players.
Volition says that its biggest free update to date will launch in May, and will revamp the game with numerous quality-of-life changes that range from overhauled combat to a selfie mode, the new Sunshine Springs district, and more improvements.
For the Dead Island 2 crossover, players will be able to dress up with items inspired by Jacob and Amy, two of the characters who appear in the upcoming zombie apocalypse game.
