The email states that Nintendo plans to "wind down" its operations in Russia, which means that players in that country will no longer be able to make new purchases or use download codes after May 31".
"As part of our efforts to honor preceding commitments to our customers in the Russian market, the Russian version of Nintendo eShop will be set to offer limited service".
