Valve: No Steamdeck successor in sight for ‘next couple of years’

Valve, the company behind the popular gaming platform Steam, has no immediate plans to release a successor to the Steam Deck, its handheld gaming device.

Pierre-Lou Griffais, a Valve coder working on the Steam Deck, revealed that the current performance target for the device is expected to remain stable for the next couple of years.

I would imagine the Deck has another 5 years minimum before being replaced by the next generation Steam Deck.
