ONE Esports, one of the largest esports tournament organisers in Southeast Asia, has just formed a new collaboration with Tinder, the popular matchmaking app.
The new collaboration sees the launch of ‘Esports Passion‘, a new initiative to “matchmake” Tinder and ONE Esport’s Southeast Asian users who are interested in gaming and esports.
Tinder will also introduce a series of new experiences through their app, mainly targeted at Mobile Legends fans.
Ten people who include “Esports Passion” in their Tinder profile will also stand a chance to receive 500 Mobile Legends diamonds between June 25th and July 7th.
“More than half of our Tinder members globally are Gen Z between the ages of 18 and 25, and we know that many of them are now spending more time exploring their passion for gaming online in the aftermath of the pandemic”
Gaurav Girotra, general manager Southeast Asia at Tinder and Match Group.
“The introduction of Esports Passion will give Gen Z gamers another way to present themselves authentically as they look to connect with others”
