PUBG Mobile bans 1.49 million accounts in a week for cheating

There is usually nothing more annoying than going up against cheaters. Any competitive player vs player games will have its share of cheaters that try any means necessary to gain an advantage in-game. 

PUBG Mobile is no stranger to this issue and their in-game anti-cheat system has banned millions of accounts to date.

However, in the recent December 4th to 10th weekly report, the popular game developer, Tencent, reported that a total of 1,498,044 accounts were banned for using cheats.

There is usually nothing more annoying than going up against cheaters. Any competitive player vs player games will have its share of cheaters that try any means necessary to gain an advantage in-game. 

The accounts were banned for various reasons and while the majority of accounts were banned for using auto-aim hacks.

Here is the exact distribution of the other reasons:

  • X-Ray vision: 24%
  • Auto-aim hacks: 26%
  • Speed hacks: 16%
  • Modification of area damage: 10%
  • Modification of the character model: Seven%
  • Others: 17%
