However this week, the game publisher broke news that the game will not be launched in India anytime soon.
“We are not planning to launch New State in India yet,” Krafton mentioned through a report by South Korean website ‘The Guru‘.
In fact, even if New State were to be launched, its launch will only come after PUBG Mobile is launched once again in the country.
Krafton has also excluded people in India from pre-registering for New State, with users facing an “Item not available in your country” message when attempting to register.
Since PUBG Mobile was banned in the country, several clones of the game have emerged, albeit coming nowhere close to the original.
For everywhere else, PUBG: New State will be launching on the 1st week of April 2021.
