PUBG Mobile continues to set new records worldwide as one of the most popular mobile first-person shooter multiplayer games on mobile.
Just last week, the recent PUBG Mobile Esports World Championship (PMGC) finals garnered over 3.8 million live-stream views from people all over the world, streaming a total of 33.4 million hours of the game.
PMGC is the largest esports tournament for PUBG Mobile, spotting a grand prize of $700,000 and massive publicity for the winning teams this year.

This number sets a brand new record for the PMGC, considering the tournament did not have any representatives from India.
Earlier last week, India’s government announced that PUBG Mobile has been permanently banned in the country, alongside 58 other mobile apps from China.
The developer of PUBG, Tencent, thanked the fans for supporting the world championship until it ended.
